This beautiful girl arrived at one of our feral colonies. We knew right away that she was not feral, as she cried and talked and looked right into our eyes, very trusting, pleading to get out of that trap! When we stroked her leg, she rubbed her head on the trap. As soon as we let her out safely in a room, she purred and climbed in our laps. This tame kitty once had a home, and had already been spayed, but sadly she had no identification, and we've been unable to locate her previous family. Since the area in which she was found is pretty remote, it's likely that she's another victim of abandonment. Spice is quite stressed being with so many other cats and dogs, but is extremely affectionate when she's visited the vet a couple of times. We suspect she needs a home, even a foster, who has no other pets, or perhaps only one. Are you that special person? She has been tested for FIV and FeLV, both negative, confirmed spayed, and vaccinated. She's in good health, has good litter pan manners, eats and drinks well. She's not a demanding kitty, and probably would make an excellent lap cat in a quiet home. Please submit an online adoption application if you would like to meet Spice.
